Hempress Selektress

Hempress Selektress, who’s name is Fancy, is a new selektress bringing forth reggae and hip hop sounds. Hempress Selektress is also the CEO of Fancy Connections and Diva Modeling Agency. She’s an artist manager and publicist via her company Fancy Connections. She brings her previous experience as a radio station owner and radio show personality to KNR.

Hempress Selektress works with artists from all genres of music. So it was almost natural for her to learn to DJ when the opportunity presented itself. Her love for music made it very easy to make the final decision to learn to DJ. Hempress Selektress began playing for a reggae club in Dallas, TX. Soon thereafter, she was requested to bring the reggae vibes to a hip hop club. This began the transformation of Hempress Selektress’s style to mix reggae and hip hop.

With her show, “Kulture Vibes” on KNR, Hempress Selektress hopes to portray a positive outlook of her culture. Her experience as a promoter and event planner is also visible in the structure of her radio show “Kulture Vibes.” Each week on Wednesday is a show with a theme, along with a flyer to represent the show and theme. Kulture Vibes Radio Show is on KNR every Wednesday from 8pm-10pm. Tune in and catch the vibes of Hempress Selektress.
